Take out the skillet from the oven and tilt to spread the oil evenly. 7. Place cherries in the bottom of the skillet in a single layer. 8. Sift the flour mixture over cherries evenly and top with almonds. 9. Bake for about 20 minutes or until an inserted toothpick in the center comes out clean. 10. Remove from oven and allow it to cool for at least 5 minutes before slicing. 11. Cut into equal sized wedges and serve in small plates.
